Dr. Ellie Gripshover

Veterinarian / Practice Owner

Dr. Ellie was Born and Raised in Rabbit Hash, KY! - She has been in veterinary medicine for 22 years! - Graduated from 2 of the best SEC schools Go CATS! and War Eagle! - University of Kentucky - Double Major in Animal Science and Biology, then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University - Dr. Ellie purchased the clinic from Dr. Smith in 2019! - Dr. Ellie lives on a farm in the Chandler community where her family raises seed stock, registered cattle and show pigs. Her family is actively showing the animals they raise and are proud to be part of the agriculture community! - They have a few other critters too… 3 dogs, 8 cats, 1 mini-Rex bunny and some chickens. - She and Her family enjoy traveling and you will not find them going back to the same vacation spot very often - they like to explore and see new things. “We have been blessed beyond measure and so thankful for our community and their support of NRAH”

Dr. Emily Osbourne

Veterinarian

Dr. Emily joined NRAH in 2020 as an Associate Veterinarian and moved to Russellville in 2021! - ”My desire to pursue veterinary medicine started young on my family’s farm and in 4-H where I showed horses. I still love to ride every chance I get!” - She received her BS in Biology at WKU in 2014! - She then graduated with honors in 2019 from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine! War Eagle!!! - “My professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and exploratory surgeries" - ”Every chance I get I am in a relentless pursuit of my other passion, flying and traveling to a new city. My favorite sound is my luggage rolling through an airport” #givemewings - “I have two of the most perfect fur children- Rain and Wind!” - Dr. Emily also enjoys visiting her family’s farm up north and spending time with her niece! - “Finding NRAH, my team, and this town has been a saving grace that I knew I needed, but I didn’t know how much it would change my life. Thank you, Logan County, and surrounding areas, for choosing me to be your veterinarian, what a blessing it has and continues to be! “ All the glory to my God for answered prayers!

Kalee Dotson

Practice Manager / Veterinary Assistant

Kalee has been in Veterinary Medicine for nearly two decades and joined the NRAH team in 2019! She is married to her highschool sweetheart and together they have three children. Her fur babies include 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens! The best part of veterinary medicine is surgery and emergency medicine, in Kalee's book! Her favorite patients are seniors, "soft words and a warm blanket make the biggest difference!" Her favorite pastimes are gardening and reading a good book! "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Gabby Graveman

Veterinary Assistant

Gabby graduated from Austin Peay in 2024 and obtained her B.S in Agriculture with a focus in veterinary technology. In July 2025 she got engaged to her long-term boyfriend. She has a beloved tripod dalmatian named Saint and a mixed-breed wild child named Luci.

Jessie Morgan

Customer Service Representative

Jessie has been in the veterinary field nearly two decades. In her spare time sports are LIFE- She loves to cheer on the Cincinnati Reds, Kentucky Wildcats and Dallas Cowboys. She is a baseball, football and basketball mom to two sweet boys, Karson and Cole, and a fur mom to her corgi, Rupp. Jessie is a great addition to our team and is always happy to speak with clients!

Kristy Paul

Customer Service Representative

Kristy moved from Michigan with her family and joined the NRAH team in 2023. She has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 3 young adult kids. In her free time she likes baking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. We are Thankful to have Kristy as part of the NRAH team!

Jonna Sapp

Jonna has been working in the vet field for many years, starting in her grandfather's clinic, then to Murray State, as well as international travel. "I love working with all of God's little creatures."

Peyton Woodward

Veterinary Assistant

Peyton has been with NRAH for 5 years. - She was with Dr. Smith as a CSR and is now a veterinary assistant! She is currently working on her veterinary technician degree. - Peyton is married to Lane and together they have 4 dogs (Shyla, Jo, Vera, and Cassie) and 1 cat (Mowgli) - Peyton & Lane volunteer their time at the Auburn Fire Department. - She owns her own business “O.G. & Me Apparel” making dog bandanas & headbands! - In her free time, you can also find her at a pond somewhere, spending time with her husband and dogs outside, sewing, or spending time with family.

Casey Byrum

Veterinary Assistant

Casey has been with NRAH over a decade! She is married to her highschool sweetheart and together they have two beautiful children; Dylan and Shelby. They have 3 fur babies who run the house. Casey's favorite time of year is summer, so she can enjoy the outdoors! She has always loved ALL animals and enjoys sharing her passion with the clients at NRAH and their fur babies. NRAH is thankful for all you do! "I am so thankful to be a member of the NRAH team. We are not just a team; we are a family! I speak for those who have no voice!"

Amber Barker

Veterinary Assistant

Amber has been in the veterinary field for over a year! - She graduated last May with a bachelors in agriculture, set to take VTNE in August to become an LVT! - Amber is engaged to her fiancé Taylor, and the two will be getting married in April of 2024! - She has 3 fur babies! Zoe, Benny, Phoebe! - Her nephews are her whole world- Graylon (2); Stetson ( 2 months old) - In her free time, she likes camping/being outdoors, crafting, and being with family! Amber is such a caring member of our team, and we are so proud of her goals and achievements!

William Bagby

Veterinary Assistant

Willie has been in the veterinary field since 2016! - He enjoys traveling and finding new roads! - Willie was raised on his family’s farm! - His kitten’s name is Cloud! - Willie works a full-time job with the State Road department and fills in with us on almost all Saturdays!

Maci Hutcherson

Veterinary Assistant

Maci has been with NRAH for almost 2 years! - She has 2 children of the human variety: Blake and Brooklyn. - Of the furry variety she has 5 - Hoss, Juno, Precious, Skeeter, and Poo! - After working in animal welfare for 4 years, rescued is her FAVORITE breed and FOSTER is her favorite word. - Maci's favorite time of year is fall! - She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and fishing! - If she's on vacation you can catch her chasing waterfalls in the mountains! - "How lucky am I to do what I love; with the people and animals I love every single day and call it work?!" We all absolutely love Maci but I’m pretty sure our patients love her more!

Rachael Destefano

Veterinary Assistant

Rachael has been in vet med since 2018. She has an amazing daughter and lives right over in Lewisburg. Rachael is the owner of REDs German Shepherds, where she breeds, raises, and trains german shepherd dogs. We are all so happy to have Rachael as part of our team!

Laura Head

Veterinary Assistant

Laura is in college at Austin Peay for their veterinary technician program. She has been with us since 2022. Laura has 3 dogs- Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Fudge. Laura is an amazing addition to our team, and we are all extremely proud of her goals and accomplishments!

Cricket - Clinic Cat

Hi! My name is Cricket. A client found me as a stray and then brought me to NRAH in the fall of 2019. Dr Ellie decided to take me in and treat me as the first NRAH clinic cat! Although I'm not quite as social as my younger brother, Pirate, I do enjoy a good head scratch and greeting clients from the counter. My favorite pastime is bird watching in the break room and sunbathing.

Hello! My name is Pirate. In the summer of 2020 I was brought in to see Dr. Ellie due to an eye injury, my owners decided to sign me over so Dr.Ellie could do surgery, called enucleation. After surgery and recovery the choice was easily made to make NRAH my furever home. Since then I have been promoted to the official counter greeter and like to give out complimentary shoulder massages! I never meet a stranger so make sure to say "Hi!" anytime you are in the office!
