Dr. Ellie Gripshover

Veterinarian / Practice Owner

Dr. Ellie was Born and Raised in Rabbit Hash, KY! - She has been in veterinary medicine for 22 years! - Graduated from 2 of the best SEC schools Go CATS! and War Eagle! - University of Kentucky - Double Major in Animal Science and Biology, then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University - Dr. Ellie purchased the clinic from Dr. Smith in 2019! - Dr. Ellie lives on a farm in the Chandler community where her family raises seed stock, registered cattle and show pigs. Her family is actively showing the animals they raise and are proud to be part of the agriculture community! - They have a few other critters too… 3 dogs, 8 cats, 1 mini-Rex bunny and some chickens. - She and Her family enjoy traveling and you will not find them going back to the same vacation spot very often - they like to explore and see new things. “We have been blessed beyond measure and so thankful for our community and their support of NRAH”

Dr. Emily Osbourne

Veterinarian

Dr. Emily joined NRAH in 2020 as an Associate Veterinarian and moved to Russellville in 2021! - ”My desire to pursue veterinary medicine started young on my family’s farm and in 4-H where I showed horses. I still love to ride every chance I get!” - She received her BS in Biology at WKU in 2014! - She then graduated with honors in 2019 from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine! War Eagle!!! - “My professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and exploratory surgeries" - ”Every chance I get I am in a relentless pursuit of my other passion, flying and traveling to a new city. My favorite sound is my luggage rolling through an airport” #givemewings - “I have two of the most perfect fur children- Rain and Bella!” - Dr. Emily also enjoys visiting her family’s farm up north and spending time with her niece! - “Finding NRAH, my team, and this town has been a saving grace that I knew I needed, but I didn’t know how much it would change my life. Thank you, Logan County, and surrounding areas, for choosing me to be your veterinarian, what a blessing it has and continues to be! “ All the glory to my God for answered prayers!

Dr. Jon Melton

Veterinarian

Dr. Melton grew up in North Alabama! -He got his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Auburn and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn! - He has a cat named Lucy! - In his off time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, scuba diving, and snowboarding! -His favorite place to vacation is the beach! – “I’m excited to join the Nashville Road family and work with the amazing staff! I look forward to meeting and serving the NRAH community!” - Dr. Melton

Kalee Dotson

Practice Manager / Veterinary Assistant

Kalee has been in Veterinary Medicine for 13 years. Joined the NRAH team in 2019 and became the Practice Manager! - She is married to her high school sweetheart, Taylor, and recently celebrated our five-year anniversary! - Kalee has two human children Noah and Callum. - Her senior fur babies Maybelline, Tucker, Berto, Chesney and Dapper Dan, with the youngest addition Lily. - Her favorite part of Veterinary Medicine are surgery and emergency medicine! - Kalee’s favorite patients are seniors. “Soft words and a warm blanket make the biggest difference to them!” - Her favorite pastimes are gardening and reading a good book! “Chose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Jessie has been in the veterinary field for nearly 15 years. - In her spare time sports are LIFE. She’s a baseball, football, and basketball mom to two sweet boys Karson (11) and Cole (7). - She loves to cheer on the Cincinnati Reds, Kentucky Wildcats, and Dallas cowboys. - She also has a third child, a 3.5-year-old corgi named Rupp. Jessie is a great addition to our team and is always happy to speak with clients daily!

Peyton Woodward

Veterinary Assistant

Peyton has been with NRAH for 5 years. - She was with Dr. Smith as a CSR and is now a veterinary assistant! She is currently working on her veterinary technician degree. - Peyton is married to Lane and together they have 4 dogs (Shyla, Jo, Vera, and Cassie) and 1 cat (Mowgli) - Peyton & Lane volunteer their time at the Auburn Fire Department. - She owns her own business “O.G. & Me Apparel” making dog bandanas & headbands! - In her free time, you can also find her at a pond somewhere, spending time with her husband and dogs outside, sewing, or spending time with family.

Casey Byrum

Veterinary Assistant

Casey has been with NRAH for 10 years! - She has been married to her high school sweetheart for almost 26 years. Together they have two beautiful children: Dylan(25) and Shelby(22)! - They have 3 fur babies who run the house! 2 cats: Diesel and Waylon , and 1 dog: Elvis “Duke”! - Casey’s favorite time of year is summer! She loves bass fishing, catching all sorts of critters, camping, having bonfires, and four-wheeler riding at the farm! - You can catch Casey and her family at the beach when they are on vacation! - Casey has always loved ALL animals and enjoys sharing this passion with the clients at NRAH and their fur babies every day! -” I am so thankful to be a member of the NRAH team- we are not just a team; we are a family” “I speak for those who have no voice! “ NRAH is thankful for all you do!

Amber Barker

Veterinary Assistant

Amber has been in the veterinary field for over a year! - She graduated last May with a bachelors in agriculture, set to take VTNE in August to become an LVT! - Amber is engaged to her fiancé Taylor, and the two will be getting married in April of 2024! - She has 3 fur babies! Zoe, Benny, Phoebe! - Her nephews are her whole world- Graylon (2); Stetson ( 2 months old) - In her free time, she likes camping/being outdoors, crafting, and being with family! Amber is such a caring member of our team, and we are so proud of her goals and achievements!

William Bagby

Veterinary Assistant

Willie has been in the veterinary field since 2016! - He enjoys traveling and finding new roads! - Willie was raised on his family’s farm! - His kitten’s name is Cloud! - Willie works a full-time job with the State Road department and fills in with us on almost all Saturdays!

Maci Hutcherson

Maci has been with NRAH for almost 2 years! - She has 2 children of the human variety: Blake and Brooklyn. - Of the furry variety she has 5 - Hoss, Juno, Precious, Skeeter, and Poo! - After working in animal welfare for 4 years, rescued is her FAVORITE breed and FOSTER is her favorite word. - Maci's favorite time of year is fall! - She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and fishing! - If she's on vacation you can catch her chasing waterfalls in the mountains! - "How lucky am I to do what I love; with the people and animals I love every single day and call it work?!" We all absolutely love Maci but I’m pretty sure our patients love her more!

Rachael Destefano

Veterinary Assistant

Rachael has worked in vet med for over 4 years! - She has a gorgeous 14 year old brat, Riley! - She has almost completed her degree for Master Dog Trainer Certification! - She owns 6 German Shepherds and breeds them! - Rachael moved here from New Jersey! And just bought her first house in the area! We are all so happy to have Rachael as part of our team!

Laura Head

Veterinary Assistant

Laura has worked at NRAH a year! - Laura plans to attend Austin Peay to become a Licensed Vet Technician! - She has three fur babies, Fudge, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown - In her free time, she loves being outside, participating in her church youth group, horseback riding, and being with friends and family! And of course, anything involving animals! - “I am so thankful for the NRAH team for being so encouraging and welcoming. I could not be where I am without them.” Laura is an amazing addition to our team, and we are all extremely proud of her goals and accomplishments!
